Casas overflows with great joy and deep passion to send out those who have been part of the heart of our church family, who meet the church’s qualifications, who are approved by the Global Outreach Team and whose ministry lives out Casas’ definition of global outreach: going outside our normal sphere of influence (culture, language, or nation) to share the message of Jesus, start new churches, and partner with  existing churches to reach their communities, in Tucson and around the world.

 

Before completing this application, please note that Casas is only able to provide financial support to applicants who:

• have been active members of a Casas Bible Fellowship for at least the previous six months and

• are going on trips that are organized by, led by, and have donations processed by the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, Frontiers, Campus Crusade for Christ, Wycliffe Bible Translators, New Tribes Mission, Pioneers, SOAR, EFCA International Mission, Catalina Baptist Association.

• meet the church's qualifications found in the Casas Standards for Short-Term Trips - please review to ensure that you meet the criteria before filling out the application.

• are committed to raising their own financial support for their trip following the Casas guidelines.

Because Casas wants each person going on a short-term trip to have a safe and effective experience, the church asks each person to commit to the following actions.

By submitting this application, either electronically or on paper, I:

·          Affirm that to the best of my knowledge, all of the information in this application is true and complete.

·          Authorize Casas to inquire of my recommendations and my Bible Fellowship director.

·          Release employers, schools or individuals from all liability to inquiries in connection with my application.

·          Release Casas from liability attached to any outreach of which I am a part.

·          Commit to complete all training in order to be an effective ambassador to another culture.

·          Commit to following the leader of my trip.

·          Give up any social habits that might lessen my effectiveness and influence while part of a short-term trip, such as drinking alcohol and using tobacco.

·          Commit to raise my own financial support (Fundraising Training from your Trip Leader) must be completed before raising financial support within Casas).
