Special Request for Financial Support
This form is to request funding from the Casas Global Outreach Special Request Support Fund. This fund is reserved for one-time cross-cultural projects ranging from $1 to $2,000. Projects intended for ongoing support would not be an appropriate use of these funds.
The criteria that Casas will use to approve a request are: (1) Does it fit our core values (involving Casas people to start ch*rch*s among least-reached people groups)?, (2) Does it produce significant, lasting, measurable results (great impact proportional to investment and avoiding increased dependency), and (3) Does it further the strategies of our global partners?
Please provide a clear and concise description, 200-300 words (less than the number of words on this page) answering the questions below. Optional background information, beyond our proposal criteria, may be included as a separate document along with the document with the responses.
1. What is the project goal?
2. How much funding are you requesting from Casas?
3. If the requested funding does not cover the total project cost, what is the source of the remaining funds?
4. How many years of use will the actual items purchased with these funds have?
5. What impact is produced proportionate to investment?
6. How will results be measured? (e.g. statistics, attendance, etc.)
7. What people group(s) does the project intend to serve?
8. How does the project help start ch*rch*es among the least-reached people groups?
9. What participation might Casas have in this project (i.e., through short-term teams).
10. What local contribution(s) will be made for this project?
11. In what ways might our gift increase or decrease dependence on outside help?
12. What, if any, vehicle costs, vehicle repair and maintenance expenses, legal costs, or medical expenses are included?
13. How will this project help accomplish your Strategy or Master Plan?
