How to Pray for Your Overseas Worker


·         Monday - Spiritual Growth

-          sensitivity to sin,

-          greater love and commitment to the Lord,

-          strong and healthy walk with God

 

·         Tuesday - Need for God’s Wisdom

-          Wisdom for living life,

-          developing an eternal perspective,

-          renewal of their mind

 

·         Wednesday - Spiritual Insight

-          Understanding and insight into the Word,

-          Understanding their identity in Christ—Who they are, where they came from, why they are there, and where they are going,

-          That God would give them His vision for their personal lives, family, and ministry

-          The leading of the Lord and insight into God’s will

 

·         Thursday - Stewardship

-          That God would enable them to be wise and disciplined stewards of their time and finances

-          That God would provide for their financial needs

-          That God would help them discover, develop, and use their spiritual gifts

 

·         Friday - Family

-          Strong and healthy marriages

-          Strong and healthy relationships between children and parents

-          That their children would catch a world vision and appreciate the privilege of being MKs

 

·         Saturday - Ministry

-          Strong and healthy ministry relationships, unity on their team

-          That God would give them greater love and compassion for loved ones, the lost, the needy

-          That God would bless their work with fruit

-          That God would open the hearts of unbelievers and to lead the missionary to those He has prepared to receive the Gospel

-          That believers who they work with would respond to God’s working in their lives

-          That national believers would become leaders

 

·         Sunday - Personal Concerns

-          spiritual victory – over the world’s pressure, moral protection, protection from and victory over the Enemy’s attacks

-          continuous growth as people

-          personal discipline

-          physical protection, health, and strength

-          emotional encouragement

-         smooth functioning of automobiles, homes, and government paperwork so they would not sap their time
